Iglesia ng Dios na buhay kay Cristo Jesus

The Iglesia ng Dios na Buhay kay Cristo Jesus (IDBCJ) is an independent Christian organization based on the Philippines and the original IDBCJ (and not IDBKKH) registered in the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission. The said organization was established way back 1954 by the first minister Avelino Santiago, who was the father of the present presiding of Danilo M. Santiago. It maybe conflicted with the other IDBCJ Organization which is being presided by Rodelio Villaverde registered on Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission.

History

Avelino Santiago's split with Nicholas Perez's organization

In 1931, Nicholas Perez with Avelino Santiago started their group called Iglesia ng Diyos kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Suhay ng Katotohanan (English Translation: Church of God in Christ Jesus, Pillar and Support of The Truth). However, the reality of this event is disputed. According to Eliseo Soriano, Nicholas Perez was already preaching this Church way back in 1928 at Pulilan, Bulacan. Soriano states that Perez was expelled by Ora after a power-struggle regarding Church leadership.

It was not until December 10, 1936 that the Nicholas Antiporda Perez's sect, Iglesia ng Diyos kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Suhay ng Katotohanan was officially registered with Securities and Exchange Commission. In 1954, Avelino Santiago, Nicholas Perez’ co-founder had a dispute with the latter, and finally left the group and established his own church, Iglesia ng Diyos na Buhay kay Kristo Hesus.

1930's to 1950's

The late presiding minister Avelino Santiago was once a member of Perez's church / organization which was called as "The church of God in Christ Jesus The Pillar and Ground of the Truth; Iglesia de Dios En Cristo Jesus, Columna Y Apoyo dela Verdad: Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Jesus Haligi at Suhay ng Katotohanan". The organization by Sir Perez was an illegal or colorum organization and Sir Perez stated that he was the Tree of Life and not Jesus christ.

IDBCJ on the Radio

IDBCJ will be broadcasting a nationwide radio broadcast on one of the known Philippine FM Stations Kiss FM 95.1 with their program called as Harana ng Pananampalataya. It started airing on January 25, 2014 and will be airing every Saturday from 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm (PST) on TuneIn, eRadioPortal and on Lucena City Radio Frequency 95.1 KissFM.

Affairs

Worship services, bible study programs, ministerial classes, prayer meetings, memorial ceremonies, youth gatherings, wedding ceremonies, thanksgiving occasions, community propaganda, baptism and others…..

Administration

The Bishop and overseen of the church, and in-charged in the over-all administration of the temporalities and the management of the affairs, estate and properties of the congregation.

Evangelists

The Ecclesiastical District Minister who are in-charge in the supervision of the affairs of the Evangelical of the Responsibility Areas of the church which compose of Local Ministers, Deacons, Youth Leaders, Local Treasurers and Local Secretaries.

Ministers

Names of the Ministers are censored for their own protection/safety.

Duties

Every member of Iglesia ng Dios na Buhay kay Cristo Jesus must:

1. To obey and love God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind;
2. To recognize the elders/ministers of the church;
3. To help the ministers for the efficient propagation of faith;
4. To share with a loving-kinded heart for the works of salvation through offerings and voluntary donations;
5. To volunteer for the construction of worship centers.
