If there were ghost

I don't guess I have ever met a ghost. I think there could be something to the thinking that the ghost could exist but not like the ones commonly thought of and written about.I have always been one to pick up on strange habits.I guess I don't follow the trends.I have always found old graveyards around most places I have traveled.I like to explore them to look at the old graves and especially the war veterans graves. When I was in Vietnam I looked at graves as often as I could. There were graves of the French Legionaires that I would go see often as they were nearby.Unlike USA graves those were not mowed often. But the weeds were not very high. Then  up in central  Louisiana there were old army camps I went to see. They were very busy in the days prior to and during WW2.Camp Claiborne is where the 101 Airboorne division began and the 82nd was there too.Up a little north of Alexandria was Camp Livingston.Several army divisions spent times in these camps. Many went of to war and many of the men fell in battle.During the war the POWs were kept in these camps. Some from Italy,Germany and Japan. While there,Many had jobs working in the forrest.During that time a man who drove a taxi created Continental Trailways bus company.I doubt if any of the POWs made much or developed any business. But you can be sure that these people had something to say. They most all lived under great stress. I could drive  the narrow concrete streets for miles at Camp Livingston and I went looking around. It is controlled by the forrest service. They have trees growing up where the buildings and tents were.I thought it was sad that such places could not be put to better use.I wondered who made money off the timber. But they let you look if you stay in the designated areas.Otherwise they fear that you may find unexploded ordinance.Thousands of men had been there traing for war.Several US army infantry divisions left there to go off to wars. Some units stayed and trained men. Some of my kin had been through these places in those times. Ijust felt like that if it was possible and there was truely ghost that these places would have plenty.I noticed that most camps.Or forts started with names but later were changed to honor a politician. The very kind who would least likely pick up a rifle and dfend the nation .I would suppose that a few made some extra spending money from the war effort though. If there was really ghost I think these ghost would find that to be something that they would want to discuss. You can search on line and learn of these camps on Wikipedia. Then there are ghost stories elsewhere but I believe a lot are drug induced.Nearby in Pineville there is a big building on the hill near the Red River nearby the veterans hospital. It took awhile to find out what the reason for the building was.It was a big dairy barn for the insane to milk cows. There was a tunnel under the highway that the cows could travel to the pasture aside of the lake. Much of the stories I have read were written by clerks.Clerks who have vast experience sitting at desk. The stories they have to tell are not very interesting to me. I like the stories of people who went out in the world and suffered or defeated someone . Or at lest went outside of a building for a day or two. We had a well known newsman  claim to be a war hero in the Mid East during the war in Iraq. These are the kind telling us what life is and what life is about.I have not owned a TV in many years. I go look for myself. Those who died from the experience have left it to us to tell their tales. There could be more truth than money in the proposition. Some clerks get ten million a year to enhance their own history.
