I Komang Gede Jefri Suparjana
I Komang Gede Jefri Suparjana (born 30 April 2004), also known as IKGJ Suparjana, is an Indonesian computer science researcher. His work includes research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and generative artificial intelligence. He has been associated with the University of Udayana and has contributed to studies concerning biometric applications in healthcare and the generation of traditional Balinese textile patterns.
Research
I Komang Gede Jefri Suparjana research has included the use of machine learning in healthcare technology. He was member of a cross faculty student team at the University of Udayana that developed Bratayuda, a multisensor smart bra designed to support non-invasive breast cancer detection and monitoring. The project combined biometric sensors with a hybrid convolutional neural network–gated recurrent unit (CNN-GRU) model.
He has also worked on generative artificial intelligence and the preservation of traditional Balinese textile motifs. In 2026, he co-authored a study that examined the fine-tuning of text-to-image diffusion models using Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) to generate patterns inspired by Balinese Endek textiles.
Honours
I Komang Gede Jefri Suparjana was a member of the Bratayuda research team, which received first place at the 2025 National Student Creativity Program (PKM) Awards. The project was developed as part of the Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) and involved students from several faculties at the University of Udayana.
Education
I Komang Gede Jefri Suparjana graduated with a degree in Information Technology from Udayana University.
