Hunter Payton

Hunter Payton (born October 4, 2004 in West Hills, California) is a philanthropist and Hispanic American actor popularly known for his roles in the NBC TV Series A to Z (recurring), Criminal Minds and in the made for TV movie The Joneses Unplugged.

Personal life

Hunter Payton was born in West Hills, California and currently resides in Ventura County, CA. His parents are Roy Mendoza and Bridgette Payton Mendoza. Hunter enjoys horseback riding, swimming, tennis, Parkour and Taekwondo. He also likes playing video games. Hunter is an Ambassador to Boo2Bullying and The Shoe Crew and he is a Youth Advocate for Free2Luv. Hunter has 22 animals, most of which were rescued. He currently owns two horses named Bella and Bullet.

Career

Hunter began his acting career at the age of 6. One of his first roles was in Will Farrell's HBO series Funny or Die Presents 2010. He has been seen in TV commercials for Sears and Mazda as well as National commercials for McDonald's,The Home Depot, GreatCall, JCPenney, Hyundai and Samsung.

Hunter is famously known for his role in the NBC TV Series, Criminal Minds alongside Matthew Gray Gubler and A to Z where he played the younger version of Ben Feldman alongside other actors Henry Zebrowski, Parvesh Cheena. In 2017 Hunter won a Young Artist Award for his role as young RJ Mitte in a demanding role playing a child with Muscular Dystrophy in Who’s Driving Doug.

He also plays a lead role in the short film Father's Day Breakfast, set for release late 2017. Hunter learned sign language so as to communicate with deaf actor Troy Kotsur in the movie. Hunter played a role in an Internet web series A Day in the Life (TV Series) where he acted alongside The D'Ambrosio Twins. Hunter plays Patrick Douglas in the PixL TV movie The Joneses Unplugged alongside Mischa Barton and Sean Faris.

Award and Nomination

In 2017 Hunter was nominated for a Young Entertainer Award and he won A Young Artist Award for Best Performance In A Digital TV Series or Film, Young Actor, for his role as "Young Doug" in Who's Driving Doug.
