Hughes Lives On

Hughes Lives On is an Irish rebel song, about the IRA guerrilla and, later, hunger striker, Francis Hughes. The song is mostly about how Francis Hughes attacked British Army and Royal Ulster Constabulary targets in the counties Tyrone, Armagh and Londonderry, and his later incarceration in the H-blocks where he soon became a hunger-striker.
