Hotspur (band)
Hotspur is an Alternative Rock band based out of Rockville, Maryland. The band consists of Dave Trichter on vocals, synthesizer and keyboard, "Coop" Cooper on bass, Scott Robinson on drums, and Joe Mach on guitar and vocals.
They currently have one album, the 2006 self-released "Beta" produced by Chris Grainger and Russ Long (Switchfoot, Wilco, Dropping Daylight). Hotspur regularly tours along the east coast and has developed a fan base through touring and street team activities. They are known locally for their energetic and engaging live show, and have shared the stage with the likes of The Late Night, Bravo Romeo Bravo, Arden, The Pink Spiders, Stella Wake Up, Polyester, The Friday Night Boys, and other bands both local and more well known.
Hotspur were named one of the top 4 unsigned bands performing at SXSW in 2006 by Kings of A&R.
They will be doing a showcase for Universal Records on January 26th, 2008 in New York City.
