Hot Tub Party

Hot Tub Party is a leisure game. It is usually played on grass, sand, or carpet. It is also known as Washers or Texas Horseshoes. Hot Tub Party can be played by 2 or 4 players. It involves each player throwing 5 painted metal washers onto an angled board that is carpeted. There are two boards typically 10 ft. apart with a hole in the middle. The object is to get the washers on the board or in the hole. Two or more washers in the hole and you have a Hot Tub Party.
2 player- game involves both players throwing from same side alternating throws. Then move to other side and repeat.
4 player- game involves 2 player on each side one from each team. 2 players on one side alternate throws until all washers are thrown. Then two players on other side throw the washers. Repeat until game is over.

Scoring System

Scoring is as follows, but can vary.
3 points- a washer in the hole also referred to as a cannonball
2 points- a washer that you can see through the hole to ground, referred to as a peeper
1 point- washer on the board

Play is to 15 points.

Gameplay Lingo

Hot Tub Party- 2 or more washers in the Hole
Cannonball- a washer in the hole
Peeper- the washer hole hangs over the board hole
Unicorn, Mystery Beast, Heaven- all 10 washers scored between both players
Eviction Notice- Washer that gets rejected from the hole
PBJ- 2 washers stacked on each other
Club Sandwich- 3 washers stacked on each other
Justice Bomb- A shot that alters the game
X games- a washer uses another washer as a ramp to get on the board
Headless Horseman, Stir of Echoes, Kevin BaCon- a washer that goes in the hole without touching anything
Reservations for two- 2 washers next to each other in one of the back corners
Birds of a feather- 3 or more washers of one color that group together
Slip N Slide, Spongegrass- a washer slides off grass onto board
Grudge Match- a rematch with hurt feelings
Vendetta Match- a single revenge match(very serious can only be called once among two players)
Campfire- a group of washers that sorround the hole
Tiny Dancer- a washer that dances or spins before settling on the board
Morning Regrets- a washer that knocks its own color off the board
The Boneyard- the name given to a pile of empty cans/bottles after a session of Hot Tub Party
Smooth Criminal- a washer that looks like it will settle on the board but continues to roll right off the board
