Holy Catholic Church--Western Rite
The Holy Catholic Church--Western Rite-Diocese of Europe in the Family of Catholic Churches (HCC-WR) is a continuing Anglican Church. It is an Orthodox Catholic church represented in the UK, Latin America, the USA, South Africa, Canada, Rome and Spain. It originated in a separation by a group of bishops of the Anglican Catholic Church (ACC), led by the then Bishop ++ Michael M. Wright, who were concerned AbOUT the ACC's doctrinal comprehensiveness and moral relativism. Bishop ++ Wright was later elected as its Metropolitan, and currently holds that office.
The HCC-WR adheres firmly to the doctrines of the undivided Church of the first millennium. It believes those doctrines to be embodied in the Orthodox Churches, which, unlike the Roman Catholic Church, have never added to or subtracted from the Holy Tradition. While identifying totally with the Orthodox in matters of faith, the HCC-WR-Diocese of Europe uses The Ancient Western liturgy of the Mass - hence the term 'Western Rite'. His Sister Province is the Holy Catholic Church-Anglican Rite, under the pastoral direction of the Metropolitan The Most Reverend ++Thomas Kleppinger. The HCC-WR, Diocese of Europe is member of the Anglican Church International Communion, ACIC.
Bishop ++ Wright is also Ordinary of the Diocese of Europe and the Metropolitan. Bishop +Samuel Banzana is Ordinary of the Diocese of Umzi Wase Tiyopiya (South Africa).
