Holy Beast Online
Holy Beast Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), developed by Easyfun Entertainment of Taiwan. The main gameplay feature is the ability of player characters to switch back and forth from an animal form into a human form at will. It is currently in a beta phase.
Characters
When creating a character in Holy Beast Online the player can choose one of six animals. The effect of each animal is similar to choosing a race in other MMORPG games. In addition, the player can choose the gender, hair style and hair color.
- Bird 鳥族- Quick and dexterous. Good race for archers.
- Wolf/Dog 犬族- Strong with good offense. Good race for fighters or warriors.
- Dragon 龍族- High magic skill. They can choose 3 different magic classes.
- Tiger 虎族- Strong and dexterous. They make ideal assassins.
- Bull 牛族- Defensive with high HP. Good as a tank.
- Monkey 猿族- Low amount of HP, but very agile and dexterous, make perfect assassins or archers.
Classes
Once a player reaches level 5, a class can be chosen from what is available to that players chosen animal/race.
- Archer 狩人- Bow and crossbow user. Good ranged attacks but low defense.
- Warrior 戦士- Typically sword and shield user, but can use many melee weapons. Good short range attacks and high HP and defense.
- Assassin 盗賊- Uses claws, chakrams or two swords, one in each hand. Great short range attacks and can cause status effects like poison.
- Support/Healer 治療師- A magical class focusing on healing and support. Low HP and defense.
- Elemental 仙法師- A magical class that uses the four elements great damage to a single target or group of targets. Low HP and defense.
- Buff/Debuff 幻術師- A magical class that weakens stats of enemies. Use of Damage over Time (DoT) and debuff skills. Low HP and defense.

- Wolf/Dog - Warrior, Archer, Debuff
- Dragon - Warrior, Support, Elemental, Debuff
- Monkey - Warrior, Assassin, Elemental
- Tiger - Warrior, Assassin, Archer, Elemental

- 力量 - Ability - Physical attack power
- 知性 - Intelligence - Magical attack power, MP
- 敏捷 - Agility - Physical hit rate and evade
- 精神 - Mind - Magical hit rate, evade and defense
- 根性 - Nature - Concentration and natural recovery
- 物理攻撃 - Physical Attack
- 物理防御 - Physical Defense
- クリティカル - Critical
- 魔法攻撃 - Magical Attack
- 魔法防御 - Magical Defense
- 魔法クリティカル - Magical Critical
- SP - Skill Points - Used to learn skills
