Holiday Pacific and Southern Tower

The Holiday Pacific and Southern Tower is a 468.7 metres tall guyed mast for FM- and TV-broadcasting at Holiday, Florida, USA at 28°11'5"N 82°45'37"W. Holiday Pacific and Southern Tower, which is property of Pacific and Southern Company, was built in 1979.

Site

The site of Holiday Pacific and Southern Tower is very unusual, as it is situaeted in a residential area surrounded by houses. Only under its guys, there are no houses. As a rule the area around guyed masts is not used for building homes, as there is the danger of falling ice at winter time and the heigh intensity of radiowaves may result in problems of electronic device of the people living nearby. Very remarkable is, that Holiday Pacific and Southern Tower stands in a residential area.
