Hojat Rahimi

Hojat Rahimi (born 31 August 1990) is an Afghan and Iranian Pop singer and classical musician. Hojat was born in Ahwaz, Iran but his Nationality is Afghan. He went to Italy as a migrant and he currently resides in Sweden.

Born and Education

Hojat Rahimi is an Afghan singer He was born in Ahwaz – Iran . His father is from Kabul, Afghanistan and his mother is from Ahwaz – Iran . Hojat is the oldest child of the family and he has two brothers Vahdat Rahimi and Benyamin Rahimi and a sister Nazanin Rahimi. Hojat has his own studio and he works as a music producer for many Afghan and Iranian singers, beside that he spend time to write his book which is about music theory and Solfage. Hojat was graduated as a musician and a director from Iranian and Italian Bari University.

Career

Rahimi worked at the Radio & Television (the official broadcasting of Iran and Afghanistan). He released his first cassette album Yasaman (Gardenia), an instrumental music album where he played piano, in 2005. His 2006 album CheBegam (what can I say) was another great success, including a number of collaborations. The follow up album Valentine was equally well received by the public. He write the soundtrack for and had an on screen appearance in the movie | Az Man Chera Miranji | (Why do you bother me), a best-seller in Afghanistan in 2011. He also played in Az Man Chera Miranji (Why do you bother me). Hojat immigrated to Italy where he was signed to Radio TV Media Italia. His first song published in Italy was Jafa Makon (Do not beaten) quickly followed by Hamdeli (Peace) and In 2013, he released To ba Man bodi ( You are with me) with his brother Vahdat Rahimi. At the beginning, he was working at state tv and radio of Khuzestan. He was then working as a music-teacher (Solfage and Piano) at music academy with master Hooshang Jafarzadeh in Ahwaz Later he moved to Afghanistan and he was offered to work as a master of music at (ANIM) Afghanistan National Institute of Music by Dr Ahmad Sarmast (Afghanistan National Institute of Music). Afterwards, he started working at Tolo TV Barbud Production with Ahmad Jawad Karimi from 2008 to 2011. Later he moved to Sweden and he had his own studio/production in partnership with his brother Vahdat Rahimi who is a professional video director and they started to work on their own songs and also on other singer’s songs and video clips. He was then busy writing a book about music which is going to be realised in 2018 and will be named as ‘Music theory and Solfage. His main goal for writing this book is to disclosure this book to people who are interested in learning music to learn it academically and professionally. Hojat and Vahdat have a strong relation with one of the greatest singer of Afghanistan Farhad Darya , and they will have more co-operation with him in future.
