Hog's Breath Saloon is a restaurant and bar located in Key West, Florida. There is also a second location in Destin, Florida.
History
The original Hog's Breath Saloon was opened in Fort Walton Beach, Florida in 1976 by Jerry Dorminy. Dorminy had just moved into the area from Birmingham, Alabama and was inspired to open the establishment mostly because he was looking for a place for he and his friends to drink after long days of sailing and fishing. In 1988 Jerry opened a second restaurant in Key West, which is now one of the most popular bars on Duval Street, especially among tourists. Almost anyone who stops in for a bite to eat ends up leaving with a piece of apparel with the logo On It. As the bar's fame grew in the early 1990's they moved their original location from Fort Walton to Destin, Florida.

The saying "Hog's Breath Is Better Than No Breath At All" is a modified version of a saying Jerry's grandmother used to say, "bad breath is better than no breath at all."
