Hlema Boland

Hlema Boland or Halima Boland (born 12 October, 1980) is a host in Kuwait Television. She is a new face of television in the Arab world, who started her caree during Ramadan.

Career

In 2003, Hlema Boland was a recent graduate of Kuwait University, with a degree in broadcasting and media. She was chosen to host a popular TV programme called "Rin Ya Jaras" ("Ring the Bell") and immediately caught the attention of Future TV and the MBC network.

Boland received offers from others in the business, including the Saudi Prince Waleed Bin Talal, who owns the Rotana network. After negotiations, she signed a contract with Rotana. She stated, that the Kuwait TV opened the doors of success for her, and she will be grateful forever. Although KTV has some financial difficulties these days, Boland credits the network for her "big break" and remains loyal and committed to help the network.

She has a new programme "Taratata" on Dubai TV in Beirut.
