Hippo Works, which was established in 1998, is the website of the educational "cartoonlet" It's a Jungle Out There! The weekly series is created by Denis Thomopoulos to educate people about animals, their treatment, and the environment. Its characters include Peep the bird and Simon the hippopotamus.
