HipLink is an American communication software solutions company, established in 1993. HipLink provides software for the wireless notification via text or voice. It provides a software tool to constantly monitor working environment and notifying the relevant response force whenever it is needed.

Services

HipLink software provides necessary services regarding the IT alerting which is any malfunctioning in the IT infrastructure, alarm management, emergency response, and mass notification and meets the common needs of the business community regarding the wireless notification system. HipLink notifies a number of its corporate, government and private clients with emergency messaging service. HipLink has also developed a mobile phone application for Health Care that insure HIPAA compliance for patient health information (PHI).

HipLink also helps restoring the operations during natural disasters. Such times are particularly crucial for businesses like the retail stores which loose revenue for any such disruptions. During the 2008 Hurricane Ike, a large portion of eastern Texas was affected leading to huge evacuations. HipLink is extensively used these days to bring the systems back on track and get the equipment going.

Clients

Since its first implementation in the major project with Nextel in 1995, it has worked with different companies including General Motors, Lockheed Martin, Cablevision, Toronto Police Department, Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Hewlett Packard, Government of Alberta, Canada. Its most recent project was with the FIFA 2014 in Brazil where it provided the messaging and notification services to Rio Operations Centre. It provided communication services to numerous city organizations and around 30 city public safety agencies. Lastly, HipLink also incorporates its services for the Obamacare by providing a HIPAA compliant communications platform insuring that patient health information (PHI) is encrypted when sent to appropriate health care professionals or to the patient.
