High 5's all round
High 5's All Round are a British pop-punk/rock band from Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.
History
The band was formed at some point in 2006, by guitarist/vocalist Ben Brown and guitarist Sam Ratcliffe. They later recruited drummer James Oakes, with his brother George following shortly after on bass duties.
Having recorded a number of demo tracks, set up a myspace account, and acquired the URL www.high5sallround.com, the band proceeded to spread the love and arrange further promotional events.
They played their first gig to a fair number of people at their local rugby club for a friends 18th birthday. Their next concert will be at The Grapes, a pub venue that has hosted many upcoming bands early performances.
The band states that their influences stem mainly from late 90's/post millennium bands such as blink-182, New Found Glory, All American Rejects, Reel Big Fish and Fall Out Boy.
