HeyMath!
HeyMath! is a for-profit company based in India which offers products and services for the K-12 Mathematics e-learning. The company was founded in 2000 and has a formal collaboration with the University of Cambridge. Its products are used in over 50 countries and extensively by schools in India, Singapore and the United States.
HeyMath! has been named as "one of the most innovative Indian software companies" by Microsoft, in a nationwide survey in 2007, and was also recognized by the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) as "amongst the Top-100 IT Innovators in India in 2006."
The collaborative approach followed by HeyMath! helped leading school district Westport Public Schools, Connecticut to do away with their textbooks and implement digital learning effectively.
Description
HeyMath! uses a collaborative approach that actively seeks and integrates inputs from great teachers around the world to provides technology-based solutions that help schools address system problems in curriculum instruction and assessment. E-lessons, developed in Adobe’s Flash software allow teachers to annotate, add their own voices as well as aggregate links from other websites.
'Accredited by SMART Technologies for use on SMART Boards', HeyMath! E-lessons serve as supplementary materials for teachers to introduce, clarify and de-mystify abstract concepts by using interactive and animated explanations that meets curriculum criteria set by several bodies, including:

The HeyMath! Assessments suite includes an online repository of questions, indexed by concept and grade, so that teachers can save time in setting differentiated homework and tests. Teachers can also use assessments set by other teachers around the world (particularly from Singapore and India) for their own students.
HeyMath! is also actively involved in professional development of teachers across geographies and equips teachers with the necessary tools, content knowledge and expertise to make the classroom experience interactive and engaging, using technology.
