The Healthcare News Network is a customizable health-oriented news channel. HNN features National News, Local Hospital Information, Original Programs, PSA's and Medical Advertisements designed exclusively for hospital waiting rooms, lobbies and patient rooms.

History

HNN was launched in October of 2006 by founding partners, John Biffar, Donnie Vick and Tom Ryan. Based out of Cape Coral, Florida, HNN's first hospital, Blake Medical Center, went live on February 1, 2007. Since then, HNN has grown to 33 live hospitals now airing in the surrounding areas of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. Negotiations with HCA National to launch the positive news based network over the next 8 months into 140 hospital's nationwide is currently underway.

Sept 27, 2007

Founding partner Donnie Vick sells his shares of HNN on Sept 27th, 2007. He stills retains the roll of president of Sun Studios which is a HD production house and developer of out of the home television networks based n Fort Myers Florida.
