Haunted Cologne

Haunted Cologne is a polka/punk band from Phoenix, Arizona, consisting of brothers Andrew and Tristan Jemsek. They perform a junction of old-timey songs, such as "The Duke of Earl," a collection of old and self-written polkas, and their own written material.

Named after the town Cologne, Germany, the band performs mainly at Trunk Space.

The brothers have worked with Ryan Avery, Coitus, 8-Bit Porno, Brodie Foster Hubbard, Radioactive Chicken Heads, and Count Smokula. They have also performed in Night Wolf and Father's Day.

Previously, the band has gone through some member changes, such as Nick on Tuba and Zack Burba on guitar. The present line-up includes bassist, Trent Morue, formerly of the band, The Vinegar Sting. Recently, Morue's influence with the band has become more apparent with songs such as, "Beat Red."

Tristan Jemsek also performs on a solo basis as UggaMugga, while Andrew Jemsek performed on a solo basis as Max Power on Grand Avenue Tonight and Maestro Can-Do Andrew on Uncle Sku's Clubhouse.

They were awarded a 2006 Best of Phoenix from Phoenix New Times.
