Hasan Johnson

Hasan Johnson (Damon Hasan Johnson) is a EMI songwriter and producer. Hasan started in the music industry at the age of 15 under the guidance of super producer Cory Rooney. Hasan joined Cory's Soul Convention production team which spawned hits for Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, Mary J.Blige and Destiny's Child.

Hasan was groomed & developed by such ICONS as P.Diddy, Cory Rooney, Andre Harrell, Evan Lamberg & Prince Markie Dee and Hasan wrote Markie's #1 Rap single "Typical Reasons/Swing My Way".

Hasan has his own label The L.C Experience Inc., which has done MusicAL projects for companies such as Maxim Magazine, Juicy Couture and Michael Jordan. Hasan works heavily with the NBA and has done All Star Weekend promotional soundtracks for many years. Hasan also has an internet radio show called "Almost Famous Radio" which has been called "one of the most original and funniest shows on blogtalk radio"

In June 2008, Hasan teamed up Universal pictures to release a promotional CD for the summer blockbuster "Wanted" starring Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman and Common. The disc was distributed to consumers in selected theaters across the country.

Hasan has also worked with Academy Award nominee Danny Aiello (Do The Right Thing, The Godfather Part II).

Hasan is also rumored to have had romantic relationships with Mary J. Blige, Shanice, & Billy Lawrence
