Haruka (singer)
Haruka is a Japanese singer, songwriter and guitarist. Born and raised in Tokyo, she started listening to rock music in her junior high school years and decided to become a musician. She released her first single "Muneni Kibou Wo" (Keep Hope In Your Heart) in 2008 under a major label Pony Canyon. The song was used as opening theme for anime Blue Dragon. In March 2008, she released her second single "Kimino Mikata" (On Your Side). After some conflicts with her label AbOUT her songwriting and MusicAL styles, she decided to end the contract with the label. After silence of 5 years, she came back to the music industry in 2013 under her own label Club Disorder, releasing a mini-album "Hymns To My Soul". On October 29, 2014, her first full-length album "Anthems" was released. Having spent some years of her youth in Australia, she is fluent in English. She also speaks French and answers some InterViews in French.
In October 2014, she had her first concert in Europe at an expo Mondocon held in Budapest, Hungary. Approximately 2000 people came to see her show.
Prior to releasing her 1st single "Muneni Kibou Wo" at the age of 19, she had worked as a lyricist when she was 16. She wrote lyrics for 2 songs in the 1st single of Aina, who is also a Japanese female singer.
