Harjeet Taggar
Harjeet Taggar is a leading young UK entrepreneur who sold his company Auctomatic.com for $5m age 22, an event that caused enormous global press coverage . He was the first UK founder to be accepted onto the Y Combinator program and remains the founder with the largest exit within the Y Combinator UK portfolio. He was also the first UK founder to secure investment from prominent Silicon Valley angels Paul Buchheit and Chris Sacca. In 2006 he was the subject of the Channel 4 documentary 'Tricky Business' and has appeared as a guest on CNN
He finished as a runner up in the 2006 Real World Graduate of the Year awards and was named as a FreshMinds 'Ones to Watch: Future Business Leaders' in 2005. He also served as PR Officer for the Oxford Entrepreneurs Society, one of the largest student entrepreneurship societies in the world.
Previously he studied law at Oxford University.
