Hank Waring
Hank Waring is a singer, songwriter and musician from Southern Ohio. He began recording country music as a teenager and fronted two successful bands in the 1980s and 1990's— The Whiskey River Band and Northern Express. Waring's self-penned single "Southern Ohio" was a regional hit for the Whiskey River Band in the early 1980s.
During the 1980s Whiskey River Band opened shows for Marty Robbins, Kenny Price, Buck Trent, Jeanne Pruett, and other well-known country music acts.
Today, Waring continues to write songs, record, and do live performances. He is currently a member of The New Sounds Band. http://www.whiteys-musicbarn.com/The_New_Sounds_Band.html
In 2004, the Whiskey River Band reunited for a Fourth of July show in Portsmouth, Ohio, after being apart for twenty years.
