Company History
Founded in 1984 by Ali Haghjoo, Hall Research Technologies began by developing products for the aerospace industry. As customers' needs evolved, Hall Research Technologies began developing other products, beginning with video splitters, which allowed the company to enter into the Professional audiovisual industry.
In 1998, Hall Research Technologies developed a product, the Mini-Cat, which brought the company accolades in numerous trade publications. The Mini-Cat® was created as a way to eliminate the need for bulky, expensive and hard to build multi-coaxial cables for High-Resolution A/V extension. Systems Contractor News published an article in June, 2004 entitled "Pet Project: The Care and Feeding of the Mini-Cat" which was a profile on the invention of the Mini-Cat and its impact on the audio visual industry.
Hall Research Technologies added an Interactive Technology Specialist, Justin T. Ireland in May, 2009 to their product development team. 2
Most recently, Hall Research Technologies developed a product to send HDMI video over a single Category 5 cable.
