Haji Diyar Khan Yaqubi

Haji Diyar Khan (1912–1995) was a great and well known leader of Pakistan Movement. He belonged to a respectable Family of Meeta Khel in Yaqubi Village of Swabi District. He was also nominated for Basic Democracy Membership in Ayub Khan's Era. He was the founder of Islahi Jirga Swabi. He Received his religious education from well known leader of Pakistan Movement Haji Trangzu Sahib. Haji Mohammad Amin Sahib was his Peer Bhai (Teacher and Fellow Both . He was also a best poet. He Loved Pakistan very much thus the historians called him Aashiq e Pakistan ( The Lover Of Pakistan ). He Died and Buried in Sattar Abad Yaqubi on 4 September 1994. Their sons Fazal Sattar Sabir and Kram Sattar Yaqubi formed a leading Social NGO by his respective name Diyar Khan Foundation Yaqubi Swabi.
