G.W. Carver Freshman Campus
G.W. Carver Freshman Campus(also called Freshman Academy or The Freshman Campus) is a public high school located in Douglas, Georgia. The school mascot is the Trojan. GWCFC houses all the FreshMen/9th graders in CoFFEE County and is located at the south end of Douglas, Georgia. The campus was originally Carver School grades 1st â 12th. Later it was Coffee Junior High, then the Junior High was split into two middle schools and this campus became East Coffee Middle School grades 6th â 8th. In the Fall of 2007 it acquired the name Coffee High School Freshmen Campus. Today it is known as the George Washington Carver Freshman Campus, an extension of Coffee High School.

School Band
G.W.C. Band is under the direction of Julie Johnson. She is the wife of Coffee Middle School Band Director Jermey Johnson. She started at Ware County High as a assistant director and later move to Douglas. G.W.C Band is also part of the Coffee High School Marching Trojans.
Band Accomplishments:
2007-2008:
2008-2009: Superior ratings at GMEA Concert Band Festivals. Fair Ratings at Wayne County High School Concert Band Festival.
2009-2010: Marching Band Festival at Dan Jardine Stadium and received an overall Superior.
