Guy Lombardo (Anal Cunt song)
"Guy Lombardo" is a song by American grindcore band Anal [...]. It has been released in several different versions by the band and has been a regular part of their live performances as well. The earliest recorded version is available on their "Very Rare Rehearsal From February 1989" CD. The earliest released version by the band appeared as the final untitled song on their "88 Song EP". It was then re-recorded as the final track for their "Morbid Florist" EP as "Guy Lombardo". The version on "Morbid Florist" is the first time the song was ever referred to as "Guy Lombardo". The third and final studio version of the song was recorded as the final song on their "Everyone Should Be Killed" album. In addition to the three studio versions, two impromptu versions were recorded for their "Unplugged EP". Two live versions of the song have been released. One on their "Live EP" and one on "Live In NYC", The latter being a live radio performance. Even though it wasn't always called "Guy Lombardo", it has always featured a cabaret-type ride cymbal intro and Seth Putnam's falsetto "Guuuyyy Lombaaarrrdooo" at the beginning, followed by AbOUT twenty or thirty seconds of incoherent screaming. Apart from The Title and the jazzy ride cymbal in the beginning, the song appears to have nothing else to do with Guy Lombardo, the legendary band leader.
