Gumlast is a registered trademark of FloDynamix, LLC. Made of perfluoroelastomeric material which is compounded and moulded into O-rings, gaskets, and speciality parts like mechanical seals. Gumlast has excellent resistance to temperature and chemicals, some grades have a maximum continuous service temperature of 325°C (617°F). Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) O-rings and gaskets are generally used in applications of aromatic hydrocarbons, in highly corrosive fluids, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and in applications where extreme purity, temperature, chemical resistance are required. FFKM O-Rings generally withstand to a temperature of -7 degree Celsius (19°Fahrenheit) to maximum of 480 degree Celsius (896°F), at which point the material will decompose.
