In 2009, GTI Spindle Technologies began an initiative to provide green service to its customers in the form of revamped Air/Oil Injection Lubrication..

Air/oil Injection provides many advantages over air/oil mist lubrication, which includes:

  • More precise metered amount of oil provided to the lubrication points
  • Dramatically decreases oil consumption by 2/3
  • Eliminates work environment contamination
  • Removes occurrence of venturi becoming clogged/varnished
  • Ability to provide lubrication to more points using only one system

  • Machine Tool Spindle Repair Services: In-house and on-site spindle repair services including vibration analysis, spindle repair and bearing repair, preventative maintenance and training.
  • On-Site Machine Tool Spindle Repair: Includes vibration analysis program to diagnose problems on machine tool spindles including wheelhead spindles, workhead spindles, drive motors, and hydraulics as well as electrical problems. Vibration analysis data collected on-site then analyzed in facility.
