Grid-hpa

Grid- History Based Prediction Architecture (Grid-HPA) is a tool for predicting the resource requirements of jobs in the Grid Computing environment based on centralized History maintenance approach. Grid-HPA has been implemented by Mahdi Bohlouli in the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST). The programming language the used for implementing the tools is Java and also SQL-Server database management system has been used to store the history of executed jobs. The proposed algorithm of prediction can be used for every job in every environment also except of Grid computing. The measured accuracy of prediction in centralized approach is better than decentralized method. As you know both of these methods have advantages and disadvantages. You can find complete explanation AbOUT these approaches and the measurements results in the published paper about Grid-HPA. It is free to download in the web.
