Greenwood cricket club

Greenwood Cricket Club was formed in 1977 and in 2007 will be celebrating its 30th year of competing in the Wanneroo Cricket Association. The club plays at Penistone Reserve in the suburb of Greenwood which is located in the City Of Joondalup.

Grades

As of the 2007-2008 season Greenwood Cricket Club have four grades. They are:

• A Grade
  • Promoted from B grade after the 2006-2007 season.
• C Grade
  • Narrowly missed out on finals last season.
• F Grade
  • Semi-Finalist from 2006-2007 season.
• G Grade
  • Grand Finalists from 2006-2007 season.

Honours

Greenwood Cricket Club won their first A-Grade title in 2003-2004 by beating Balga Cricket Club. In 2006-2007 Greenwood won the B-Grade Premiership and won promotion to A-Grade for the 2007-2008 season.

Records

There have been many players that have played for Greenwood Cricket Club over the 30 years. Damon Pope holds the record for most games played when he played his 250th game this season.
