Graham Bilbrough
Graham Robert Bilbrough, also known as Ricky Graham (born 23 May 1958 in Fairburn, England) is an English singer, best known for been the lead singer in the successful 70's pop band CHILD, alongside Mike Mckenzie, Kieth Attack and twin brother Tim Attack.
Graham was born in Fairburn, as the only child to Maureen Hardy and Collin Bilbrough in 1958. And attended Knottingly High School. From a young aged he enjoyed playing his guitar with his friends in the local club called The Rectory. At the age of 18, Graham was spotted by a gentleman called Mike Divere who then became CHILDS manager and got them their first record deal in the middle 70's with having a smash hit single, It's Only Make Believe, followed by many more.
The band split up in the early 80's, Graham then pursued a solo career and a few years later he started working in Working Mens Clubs as Ricky Graham, and did so for many years until around 1990. When he finished singing in clubs he took over his agent's business ( the late Les Parker Office) which Graham turned into Ricky Graham Leisure and was a successful business venture for many years.
Graham got married in 1987 to his former hairdresser Jan, who helped run the agency with him. In 1997, they had their first and only child Ellie Jane.
Graham sold the agency in 2003, to local artist Harry Turnstyle, who is still running the business to a high standard today. Graham then went to as a Bathroom showroom manager and in 2008 as started doing the odd night singing again and is do very well.
