Gonobidya Niketon
Gonobidya Niketon (High School) (), also known as Gonobidya Niketon (its name up to 2005), is a secondary educational institution in Bangladesh established in 1974. Although the school was set up to cater for the need of the children of surrounding areas, students come from all parts of Narayanganj.
In the SSC examination of 2012, it became one of the most successful schools in the country in terms of total number of students achieving GPA 5. In 2011 it also achieved remarkable percentage of both G.P.A 5 and passing rate. The main campus of Gonobidya Niketon is located in the heart of Narayanganj Sadar.
History
The school was founded on March 15, 1974. The students from the school participated in S.S.C. (Secondary School Certificate) Examination (O-level equivalent) for the first time in 1975.
During the first 23 years the school kept its growth as a Boys high school for Day shift only. Following the demand and the requests from the guardians a Morning shift for the female students was added in 1997.
To make room for more students the administration established one new building on the occasion of the 20th anniversary in 1995. Mr. is the founder-headmaster of the institution.

Campus
The institute is situated in the prime location of Narayanganj.
- Ralibagan, Narayanganj: The campus is located beside Ralibagan, Narayanganj. It was established on 15 March 1970 by the help of the people of Ralibagan. In 1980, school authorities granted 1.2 acre land of this campus. There are five buildings.

Academics
The school offers secondary education for both boys and girls even though it is non-co-educational. GeneRally boys and girls are split into two separate shifts. Girls attend school in the morning shift while boys attend their classes starting from noon.

Administration
Like all other high schools the chief of the school section administration is the “Headmaster” while there is “Assistant-head master” in each of the shifts in each of the Branches. They are selected by the jury board from the veteran teachers.

Extracurricular activities
- Scouting : the institute’s scout group is the team of Bangladesh Scout, Narayanganj. It consists of one cub team, one scout team, one girl cub and one girl scout team. They have participated in many national and international Scout events.
