Gloria Bugie

Busingye Gloria (born 2004), known professionally as Gloria Bugie, is a Rwandan-Ugandan singer and songwriter based in Uganda. She gained recognition in the East African music scene for her Afrobeat and dancehall tracks.

Early life

Bugie was born in 2004 in Rwanda. She has been involved in music since childhood, participating in singing competitions and school choirs. She moved to Uganda for secondary education, where she was supported by her parents both morally and financially.

Music career

Bugie has been active in the professional music business for approximately two years. She is signed under HitBoss Management. She is best known for hit songs such as "Nyash" (also referred to as "Bankyawa") her first major hit across East Africa along with "Ready", "Panama", "Chikicha" (featuring B2C), and "Today".

In December 2025, she won the Best Female East African Artist award at the Zikomo Africa Awards in Tanzania. She was also awarded the YouTube Silver Creator Award for reaching 100,000 subscribers.
