Global Public School

Global Public School (stylized as global public school) is an educational institution in Cochin, in the state of Kerala, India. The institution is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, for Grades 1 to 12 and Cambridge International Examinations, for Grades 9 to 12. It was established in 2005 by the Global Education Trust. The school is home to several national and international level toppers and has a 10-acre campus with two blocks - the CBSE block and the gps-International block that houses its Cambridge International students.

Houses

Students of Grades 6 to 12 are sorted into four houses. Inter-house competitions are held and house captains are nominated by the faculty annually. The four houses are:

  • Fire
  • Earth
  • Water
  • Air

Each house is headed by a teacher known as the 'House Co-ordinator' and the house captains are part of the school's Student Council.

Academics

Global Public School's students have performed modestly for their CBSE examinations, with 61 distinctions secured, and for the CIE examinations, and Cambridge Outstanding Achievement awards being conferred upon students for securing positions including World Topper in Travel and Tourism, India Toppers in Business Studies, Accounting, Food and Nutrition, Travel and Tourism, Environmental Management and Biology.

gps-International

GPS-International (stylized as gps-International), is a division of the Global Education Trust that offers students the IGCSE curriculum for Grades 9 to 10 and the AS & A Levels for Grades 11 to 12, prepared by Cambridge International Examinations. When students pass to Grade 9, they are presented with the option to choose between two curricula - Cambridge International's, IGCSE, AS and A Levels or the Central Board of Secondary Education.
