Global Dance Festival
Global Dance Festival is an electronic dance music festival held annually in Colorado. It started in 1999 as an on-off show called Rave on the Rocks, and is now a multi-city festival in Colorado, and the first large dance event staged at Tempe Beach Park. In 2013, Denver Westword named the festival "Best Dance Party of the Summer." Wrote the publication, the festival has "transformed into the biggest dance-music festival in the region." Headliners have included Empire of the Sun, Kid Cudi and LMFAO, with diverse EDM subgenres including downtempo and drum and bass. Other headliners have included Deadmau5, Skrillex, Kaskade and Pendulum. 2014 headliners included Steve Aoki and Crizzly.
