Glenn D. Glasgow is a Caribbean-born fiction writer whose published books include Little Orphan Andy (2012), Our Market (2019), Phzed (2019), and Yard Wars (2024).
Writings
Glasgow's first book, Little Orphan Andy, was published in 2012. The story follows a journey from a real-world town to a fantasy realm and explores themes of dreams, the subconscious, and destiny.
His second book, Phzed, was published in 2019. In the same year, he published Our Market, an allegory featuring anthropomorphic fruits and vegetables who face issues such as bullying, discrimination, and aspiration. The book is aimed at younger readers and emphasizes encouragement and moral development.
In 2024, he published Yard Wars, set in the American Southwest. The story depicts fire ants and Gila monsters uniting after their home is destroyed.
Personal life
Born on Saint Vincent and raised on St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands, Glasgow is the eldest of three children and was brought up by a single mother. He began writing as a child, started working at fourteen to help support the household. He later relocated to Orlando, Florida.
