Gillian Stevens-Guille
Gillian Stevens-Guille is a playwright and actress from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Her critically acclaimed play, Self-Storage, toured Canada (Fringe Festivals). Several of her plays have also been exhibited at New York City's renowned Ensemble Studio Theatre. Gillian graduated from the Neighborhood PlayHouse School of the Theatre with a scholarship, with fellow classmates Martin Henderson (the Ring), Scott Speedman (Felicity), Brian Geraghty (Jarhead), Claire Brosseau (My First Wedding) and Peter Miller (Mambo Italiano). She is married to actor/playwright Russell Bennett.
Gillian's play, Self-Storage won the critic's choice for best of the Fringe in Toronto, Saskatoon and Victoria.
Gillian was nominated best actress in a play in Victoria Fringe.
Gillian and her husband Russell Bennett won 1st runner up for "Chapter's best text award" for the play, Reefer Man.
Gillian won the Gordon Armstrong Playwright's rent award at the Jessie Nominations in May.
