Gigi Drums

Gigi Drums is an innovative and exceptional female drummer, percussionist, and composer who created the Hippopotamus Rhythm, which is based on patterns of a five pulse beat.

She holds a Bachelor's of Music from the University of Southern California and has studied at the Juilliard School of Music and the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Her endorsements include DW Drums, Sabian, Regal Tip, Rhythm Tech, and Audix. She was the drummer for Partly Cloudy, an industrial band. Her performance credits include Lionel Hampton, Patrice Rushen, and Tito Puente.
