GeoTel Communications was a company producing contact center software. It was acquired by Cisco Systems on April 13, 1999.

In 2006, University of Florida professor Dr. Grant Thrall, donated his 20% of total corporate shares to Homer Hoyt Institute. Dave Drazen purchased the remaining partners shares.
