Georgia Bulldogs football games in the 1890s
There were six head coaches of the Georgia Bulldogs football team in the 1890's. Charles Herty (1982 season), Ernest Brown (1893 season), Robert Winston (1894 season), "Pop" Warner, (1895 & 1896 seasons), Charles McCarthy (1897 & 1898 seasons) and Gordon Saussy (1899 season).
Decade Record: 23-14-2, a winning percentage of .615.
Milestones: SIAA Co-Champion in 1896.
Georgia Bulldogs football games in the 1900s
There were seven head coaches of the Georgia Bulldogs football team in the first decade of the 1900's. E. E. Jones (1900 season), Billy Reynolds (1901 & 1902 seasons), Marvin D. Dickinson (1903 & 1905 seasons), Charles Barnard, (1904 season), Bull Whitney (1906 & 1907 seasons), Branch Bocock (1908 season) and James Coulter & Frank Dobson (1909 season). The first decade of 1900 was the worst decade of football in Georgia Bulldog history.
Decade Record: 24-38-8, a winning percentage of .400.
Cumulative Record:47-52-10, a winning percentage of .477.
Milestones:
- 10th season of Georgia Bulldogs football - the 1901 season.
- Georgia dropped below .500 in 1905 and would stay there for the rest of the decade (loss to Clemson on October 2).
- 100th game played in 1908 (tied Alabama - October 14).
Georgia Bulldogs football games in the 1910s
There was only one head coachof the Georgia Bulldogs football team in the 1910's. Since Georgia did not field a team in 1917 or 1918 due to World War I, W. A. Cunningham coached the bulldogs for eight seasons. Although the team had slipped below .500 as the result of a poor showing in the first decade of the season, Cunningham's teams had enough success to pull Georgia's cumulative record back above .500.
Decade Record: 43-18-9, a winning percentage of .679.
Cumulative Record:90-70-19, a winning percentage of .556.
Milestones:
- Georgia moved back above .500 in 1911 and would never fall below .500 again.

The Bulldogs had three head coaches during the 1920's: Herman Stegeman for 1920-1922 seasons, Georg "Kid" Woodruff for 1923-1927 seasons and Harry Mehre for 1928 & 1929 seasons.
