Geoffrey Newland
Geoffrey Newland (born 8 November 1976) is an actor who trained classically at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and in the method at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute (New York), Geoffrey started his career with the Royal Shakespeare Company, then filming Spooks (aka MI-5) for the BBC. He has worked in film, with the RSC, BBC, ITV, Regent's Park OpenAir Theatre and as a Carleton Hobbs BBC radio nominee.
Brought up in Hawick, Scotland, Geoffrey attended boarding school aged 6 â 18, at University he was one of the first 10 people to study a combined law degree / BVC, qualifying as a Barrister and called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn. He worked for Eversheds before traveling the world for over 2 years and following his dream of acting. He lives in Camden where he is the father of twin daughters.
