Genkou youshi

GenkÅ? yÅ?shi is a Japanese term for stationery which utilises a grid or squares.

Also called manuscript writing paper, such sheets are often divided into 200 or 400 squares. The spaces are each used for one Japanese character. The squares run in vertical columns as Japanese is traditionally written vertically.
