Geldegarde Monotoli

is a corrupt businessman who ruled Fourside with an iron fist in the Super Nintendo Entertainment System video game EarthBound from his personal office at the Monotoli Building.

His police force pledged allegiance to him before any other citizen of Fourside. After receiving the Evil Mani Mani statue through the termination of Mr. Carpainter's Happy Happyism cult (based out of Happy Happy Village), Monotoli became a pawn of Giygas. Aloysius and Pokey Minch were hired as his business consultants and were given luxurious accommodations. Keeping the statue in Moonside, an alternative form of Fourside, frequent visits to the golden statue would become necessary in order to keep his superhuman charisma. Monotoli would enlist a spook in order to kidnap Paula Polestar at Fourside's department store - a felony in real life. After defeating the statue, Monotoli immediately gave up his corrupt ways and confessed that he was manipulated by the Mani Mani statue. Monotoli would eventually lose his helicopter to his former partner Pokey when he needed it to travel to Giygas.

The mayorship of Fourside was given back to Enrich Flavor after Giygas is defeated. Monotoli ended his career as a humble elevator man for Mayor Flavor.
