Gary Kaplan & Associates is an executive search firm founded in 1985 by Gary Kaplan in Pasadena, California. By 2008 the firm had expanded its operations nationwide, with associates working on both the west and east coasts. The firm serves both national and international clients.

This company leads searches for executives and senior-level management positions in for-profit and non-profit organizations, as well as educational institutions. 90% of the firm’s business comes from referrals and repeat business. Industries served by the firm include financial services, high technology, entertainment, health care, academic service, and many other fields.

Gary Kaplan, founder and president of the firm, has over 30 years of experience recruiting for industries including entertainment, natural resources, higher education and non-profit. He is a Pennsylvania State University graduate with a liberal arts degree. Before founding his own search firm, Kaplan was a managing vice president and partner at Korn/Ferry International.

Kaplan has authored articles for publications including the Los Angeles Business Journal, Computerworld, and The Pasadena Star News.
