Freckleton F.C.

Freckleton F.C. are a football club based in Freckleton, near Kirkham in Lancashire, England.

They are associate members of the Lancashire Football Association, and the club's senior team play in the West Lancashire League Premier Division, which is at the 11th level of the English football league system.

They play home games at the Hodgson Memorial Ground, which is part of the Rawstorne Sports Centre, Bush Lane, Freckleton. The club's colours are red shirts and black shorts. Only on rare occasions do they produce a programme for their home games.

The club have long been members of the West Lancashire League, and had their best spell of success in the early 1980's when they were Division One Champions three seasons in succession, also winning a League and Cup double and two Charity Shields under the guidance of manager Tom Newsham, who is now in Australia.

Current manager of the first team is Tony Hesketh, assisted by Jimmy Salthouse. Reserve team manager is Kev Flitcroft, assisted by Tony Whitsey. Club physio is Roy Frost. Chairman is Michael Threlfall. Club trainer is Peter McCann, and the secretary is Geoff Dyson.
