Fravashi Academy

Fravashi Academy is a primary and secondary school run by the R. S. Luth Education Trust in Nashik, Maharashtra. Mr. Ratanshaw Sorabji Luth, the Founder Father of Fravashi Academy, Nashik, was a renowned personality of Nashik. He formed an Educational Trust in 1978, which is a private trust, with an initial contribution of Rs. 25000/-. Within four years of its inception, to further the cause of education, Fravashi Academy was started in 1982. The current chairman of the trust is Mr. Ratan Luth. Mrs. C. C. de Rozario and Ms. Maureen Samson head the Secondary and Primary sections respectively.

Campus

The school is spread over an adequate area of land with four blocks namely the Administrative Block, the Pre-Primary Paradise, Blocks for Primary and Secondary, the Multipurpose Hall and the Activity Space. Adequate security, landscaping around a huge playground, paved walkways, and clean premises are the first impressions of Fravashi Academy. The Campus is bright and colourful, with lush green lawns and hedging. It has a rabbitry and an aviary in front of the entrance.

The Academic Council

Secondary students are grouped into four houses: Robins, Kingfishers, Macaws and Finches representing the colours Red, Blue, Green and Violet. Each house is led by a Captian, Vice-Captain and Support Teacher. The houses promote a competetive spirit amongst students during events like the Sports Day and the numerous Inter-House competitions. The Student Council is headed by the Head Boy/Girl. The Sport's Captain is responsible for co-ordinating inter-house Sports events throughout the year. The Student Council is also in charge of conducting regular morning assemblies, daily inspection duties and maintiang a general level of discipline amongst students.
