Frank Sinatra soundtrack discography
This is a list of songs sung by Singer and film actor Frank Sinatra in his feature films from 1943-1964. Frank Sinatra started off in film in the early 1940s as a singer with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. In 1943 he was signed to RKO Radio Pictures, but that contract would be bought by Louis B. Mayer of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, but Sinatra would on and off make films with RKO and MGM. Like Bing Crosby Sinatra would win a Academy Award in 1954 for From Here to Eternity. Like many singers Frank wanted to have dramatic roles in film, he even made films where he didn't sing at all in them.
