Francesco Gargallo di Castel Lentini

Francesco Gargallo di Castel Lentini (born 6 November 1993) is an Italian lawyer and legal researcher specializing in public and constitutional law. He is a post-doctoral fellow at the Pontifical Lateran University focusing on Vatican public law. He maintains a legal practice in Rome, with a professional focus on public, administrative, military, and sports law.

Early life and education

Gargallo di Castel Lentini completed his secondary education at the Liceo G. De Sanctis in 2013. He earned his laurea magistrale (Master's degree) in Law from Sapienza University of Rome in 2018. He subsequently obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Constitutional Law from the University of Pisa in 2022 and completed a visiting doctoral research period at the University of Navarra. In 2023, he received a PhD in Public Law with honours (Eccellente con lode) from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

Legal and academic career

Gargallo di Castel Lentini qualified as a lawyer in 2022 and is registered with the Ordine degli Avvocati di Roma. His legal practice encompasses criminal, administrative, military, and sports law. In the field of sports law, he is admitted to the free legal aid lists (*gratuito patrocinio*) of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and has served as a defense attorney for the FIPM and the FISE.

Academically, he has served as a subject expert (cultore della materia) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata since 2020. He is a member of the *Gruppo di Pisa*, a national registry of constitutional law scholars, and serves on the scientific committee of Assoinfluencer.
