Four square: soccer

Four square soccer is a game of skill and soft touch. It is a great game for developing touch on a soccer ball.

Equipment Four square soccer is a simple game requiring little equipment. In order to play a soccer ball with a good bounce is required. The game should be played on a hard surface such as concrete, grass is not suggested. On the playing surface four equal squares should be drawn all touching each other.

Object of the Game Each box of the drawn square is given a numbered value, 1 through 4 with 4 being the best or top box and 1 being the lowest or worst of the boxes. The game begins with players being randomly chosen to each box. The player on the 4 box begins the game by serving. The game is played completely without using your hands. Every other part of your body May Be used. The player in the 4 square serves to anyone he/she wants using their feet. The other players attempt to volley the ball to other players in order to get them out. A player is allowed to "juggle"(keeping a soccer ball of the ground without using ones hands) the soccer ball as much as they are able to without it hitting the ground. A player is considered “out” if the ball bounces twice in their square or if the ball is bounce in their square and the player misses it. Once a player is considered “out” he/she moves down a square to the next lowest level and the other players move up accordingly. The objective of the game is to stay on the top of the square, the 4 spot for as long as one is able.

Rules The rules of four square soccer are absolutely no hands. If one uses their hands they are considered out. A player is out if the ball bounces twice in their square of the ball bounces once in their square and they miss it. The four square always serves. A ball that hits the line of a square is considered "in" or playable.
